GoVenture Simulation Designer

Software License LICENSE COST is based on the number of Unique Simulation Users that will play the Simulations created with GoVenture Simulation Designer. Three licensing and pricing options are provided based on the number of Unique Simulation Users. Only a person creating Simulations using GoVenture Simulation Designer needs to purchase a Software License. Unique Simulation Users playing Simulations created and published with GoVenture Simulation Designer do not need to purchase a Software License and do not need to have GoVenture Simulation Designer installed or running to play Simulations. Each license option allows for installation of GoVenture Simulation Designer on one computer. See below for examples and definitions. TO DISTRIBUTE Simulations to people outside of your organization you need to comply with the GoVenture Simulation PLAYER Distribution Agreement – see below. TECHNICAL SUPPORT is provided free with each Software License for one year to a maximum of 5 incidents. Additional support is available at $25 per incident. Support is only available to the Software Licensee, not Simulation users.	Option A $399 Up to 50 Unique Simulation Users

	Above prices allow for GoVenture Simulation Designer to be run on one computer. For each additional computer add $399 to any of the above.
Educational License Special discounted licensing and pricing is available to accredited Educational Institutions, for non-commercial use only. INSTRUCTORS who want to use GoVenture Simulation Designer to create Simulations to be used by students registered at his or her educational institution may purchase an Instructor License. EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS that want to allow students to create Simulations using GoVenture Simulation Designer for educational purposes may purchase a Student Seat License. An Educational License does not permit distribution of Simulations to students not currently registered at your institution. To do so requires a non-Educational License. See below for examples and definitions. TECHNICAL SUPPORT: Each Instructor License includes one year free technical support up to a maximum of 5 incidents. Additional support is available at $25 per incident. Support is only available for the Software Licensee, not Simulation users. Institutions purchasing Student Seat Licenses, regardless of the number of Student Seat Licenses purchased, receive a total of one year free technical support up to a maximum of 5 incidents. GoVenture Simulation PLAYER Distribution Agreement If you plan on giving away and/or selling a Simulation created with GoVenture Simulation Designer to individuals and/or organizations outside of the organization by which you are employed, you must comply with the GoVenture Simulation PLAYER Distribution Agreement. There is no fee associated with the Agreement. You do not need to comply with the GoVenture Simulation PLAYER Distribution Agreement for Simulations created with GoVenture Simulation Designer that are for your own personal use or for use by those within the same organization by which you are employed. Examples Example 1: You are a trainer within an organization with 30 employees. You may purchase license Option A ($399) for yourself to use GoVenture Simulation Designer. You can then create and publish an unlimited number of Simulations which can be used by all 30 of your company’s employees (they would not have to have the GoVenture Simulation Designer software). Example 2: You are a trainer within an organization with 150 employees, but no more than 50 of those employees will use a Simulation. You may purchase license Option A ($399), however, if more than 50 employees will use a Simulation, you must purchase license Option B ($999). Example 3: Further to examples 1 and 2 above, if a second trainer in your organization wishes to have GoVenture Simulation Designer on his or her computer to create Simulations, he or she may purchase an additional license for $399. Example 4: You are a school teacher or college professor at an accredited educational institution. You want to create Simulations to be used by students registered at your institution for educational purposes. You may purchase an Instructor License ($499) which allows you to create and publish an unlimited number of Simulations which can be used by an unlimited number of students registered at your institution. For non-commercial use only. Example 5: You are a school teacher or college professor at an accredited educational institution. You want to allow your students to use GoVenture Simulation Designer to create Simulations of their own. Each student must be given access to a computer running GoVenture Simulation Designer at your institution. If you expect that up to, but no more than, 5 computers may simultaneously run GoVenture Simulation Designer, you should purchase 5 Student Seat Licenses (5 x $249). If you expect that up to, but no more than, 10 computers may simultaneously run GoVenture Simulation Designer, you should purchase 10 Student Seat Licenses (10 x $249). Any number of Student Seat Licenses may be purchased based on the maximum number of computers that may run GoVenture Simulation Designer at the same time. An unlimited number of students may take turns using GoVenture Simulation Designer on licensed computers. For non-commercial use only. Example 6: You are a training designer and want to create Simulations that you will give away and/or sell to individuals and organizations outside of your own. You may purchase license Option A ($399) to allow you to create an unlimited number of Simulations which can be used by up to 50 Unique Simulation Users in total. Or you may purchase license Options B or C for greater flexibility if you expect to distribute to a greater number of Unique Simulation Users. You must also comply with the GoVenture Simulation PLAYER Distribution Agreement for each Simulation you will distribute outside of your organization.
Definitions Unique Simulation User: A single individual user of a Simulation created with GoVenture Simulation Designer. The same user playing one or more Simulations on one or more computers is considered one Unique Simulation User, regardless of how often or how many Simulation he or she plays. SEAT License: This license allows for many people to use the software at the same organization (or school) at one physical address location. The number of seats purchased determines how many computers may run the software concurrently (at the same time). For example, a 5-Seat License allows for the software to be run on up to 5 computers at the same time. In this example, the software may be installed on a network, or installed on more than 5 computers, but the software may not be run on more than 5 computers concurrently. Individual Seats cannot be shared amongst different organizations (or schools).
