Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

  • Can I try all the GoVenture MyFirst programs without buying?
    Yes! Just click the TRY NOW tab above and download the software. All the MyFirst programs will be installed on your computer and will be accessible from a single interface (called the Toyshelf). The trial period is free plus you get to keep MyFirst Sounds!
     
  • What happens after the 30 day free trial is over?
    MyFirst Sounds is free so you can continue to play it indefinitely. Once the trial period is over, the other programs will be LOCKED (cannot be played). You can unlock any or all of the programs at any time by purchasing a KEY from this website — just click the BUY NOW tab above.
     
  • When I buy GoVenture MyFirst do I have to pay a monthly, yearly, or other hidden fee?
    No! You pay once and the purchased programs are yours to enjoy forever. But please note that this excludes new programs or versions that may be introduced after your initial purchase.
     
  • If I try GoVenture MyFirst and don't like it can I remove it from my computer?
    Yes! Click the Windows START button, then All Programs, GoVenture, and choose the Uninstall option.
     
  • How do I stop and quit the program after it starts running?
    Hold the [Shift] key down and press the letter [Q]. This key combination is used to protect your desktop by making it difficult for the child to quit on her own.
     
  • I have GoVenture MyFirst. How do I get new programs to add to the Toyshelf?
    As new programs become available they will be listed under the PRODUCTS tab above. You will be able to download and easily add them to your Toyshelf by following the directions that will be provided. New programs will have free trial periods but will have to be purchased for continued use.
     
  • Why should I buy the new GoVenture MyFirst if I already own earlier versions?
    The GoVenture MyFirst programs were completely redesigned, expanded, and greatly enhanced since the original products were released in 1997. If you liked the earlier products, we are sure you will LOVE the new ones!
     
  • Does GoVenture MyFirst run on a Macintosh?
    No — for Windows only. If you would like to see us develop a Macintosh version in the future, please let us know.

The latest version of this software is 2.0.0

You can locate your version number by starting GoVenture — the main menu will have the version number in the lower middle section of the screen.
