The Idea Wrestler is designed to help you work through these key questions:

• Do you have a viable business idea?
  Is there a demand for this - i.e. is this something that certain people will want and will pay for? Is it a product which can physically be made, or a service which is possible to deliver?

• Could this business idea be developed into a profitable business?
  It is normal for a new business to lose money in the first few years of operation, but over the long run you must make a profit for the business to survive. Can this be done?

The sequence in which these topics are addressed may appear to be linear, going from one to the next. However, no thought process is truly linear. You may have already done some of your self evaluation, or you may wish to start wrestling with a business idea. The sequence you use is not critical. It is important, however, to evaluate all of these areas carefully before deciding to start a business.

There are no right or wrong answers or scoring provided. But by working through the excercise, you will have considered the key issues when evaluating a business idea. You can print your entries when done.
