How to Integrate Business Simulations with Canvas LMS

1. Keep your syllabus on your LMS.

2. Add instructions in your syllabus for the business simulation. This includes an introduction to what the program is and how to access it. And assessment.

3. Add instructions in your syllabus for each period and activity related to the simulation and include a direct link to the simulation. This means that students are doing the activity on a third party website, not on your LMS directly.

4. The assessment provided by the simulation can be converted to grade points which can then be manually entered or uploaded to the LMS gradebook.

Advanced business simulations typically cannot be embedded directly within an LMS like conventional elearning content can because such simulations are not static content. They are comprised of multiple technologies hosted on full-featured internet servers.
